Jin­dal Den­ims is a tex­tile ma­jor group that of­fers den­ims in huge va­ri­eties and has the ca­pac­ity to pro­duce 144mili­ion me­tres per an­num i.e. 12 mil­lion me­tres per month, (denim fab­ric). Speak­ing about the de­mand in mar­ket Nis­hant Giri, Sr. Gen­eral Man­ager) from the com­pany said, “De­mand is good, how­ever, in do­mes­tic mar­ket the con­sump­tion is quite high. We are now try­ing to tap the in­ter­na­tional mar­kets like Viet­nam, Cam­bo­dia ag­gres­sively.”

The com­pany makes 3 mil­lion me­tres of bot­tom weights per month, 1 ½ me­tres of shirt­ings (printed), so over­all ca­pac­ity if cal­cu­lated would be 15 mil­lion me­tres per month. The com­pany’s de­sign team is work­ing on dif­fer­ent types of yarn tex­tures and is try­ing to come up with a new polyester yarn with soft feel. “The best part of this new prod­uct is that the process used to pro­duce is com­pletely sus­tain­able,” he added.

The group be­lieves that cus­tomers al­ways look for some­thing new and want a prod­uct which gives more sales, has a knit­ted look and tex­tures in denim so

the com­pany aims to of­fer all.

The com­pany re­ported a good re­sponse at the ex­hi­bi­tion.
