Asian Paints briefed In­te­gra Re­tail to de­velop a sleek & com­pact counter top unit which would con­ve­niently dis­play the var­i­ous shades of Pre­mium Satin Enamel and at the same time com­mu­ni­cate and re­in­force the key fea­tures of this pre­mium prod­uct, which is pri­mar­ily aimed at giv­ing the doors & win­dows of one’s dream home, the el­e­gance of a satin fin­ish paint. The key task was to work on a so­lu­tion that con­veys the mes­sage briefly and ef­fec­tively. Af­ter a quick dip stick study of the out­lets, In­te­gra Re­tail, came up with this so­lu­tions in terms of the look and feel of the unit. It is an oval shaped unit with a slight in­cline so that the shade sam­plers could be seen eas­ily and even touched and felt by ev­ery cus­tomer vis­it­ing the store. A mul­ti­ple mo­bile charger was placed at the back of the unit as a value-add for the re­tail­ers and their staff to charge any of their branded cell phones. A leaflet holder was also added to keep prod­uct leaflets and shade cards for easy dis­pens­ing to cus­tomers. The unit is made out of pre­mium HIPS and foam-board. The com­mu­ni­ca­tion is min­i­mal but to the point and di­rect; clearly spell­ing out the key fea­tures of the prod­uct. More than 3,000 such units were placed at paint & hard­ware stores across the coun­try
