Solectria Renewables introduces new inverter
Solectria Renewables, LLC, a leading U.S. PV inverter manufacturer, reportedly the introduction of its new PVI 3800TL transformerless residential inverters recently. The company claims that the new 3.8kW single-phase inverter is the best residential solution available in the inverter market. The PVI 3800TL features the highest peak (98 per centage) and CEC (97.5 per centage) efficiencies, as compared with other major inverter suppliers. Its small, compact, lightweight design with integrated fused combiner and disconnect makes for a quick and easy installation. It can withstand the harshest weather conditions with a NEMA 4 enclosure rating, the company claims.
“Solectria was an early entrant into the residential market in 2005. Since then, we have expanded the line to cover 1.8-7.5kW single-phase inverters to keep up with the continuous development and improvement of the residential PV market. Adding this new transformerless inverter is evidence to our commitment to be at the forefront of the PV inverter market,” James Worden, CEO of Solectria Renewables was quoted as saying. The PVI 3800TL is the first in this new line of transformerless residential inverters, it is told. In Q2 2014, Solectria will add 5.2, 6.6 and 7.6kW inverters. These inverters will have performance specifications as impressive as the PVI 3800TL as well as dual MPPT.
