IBC So­lar inks 6th EPC con­tract in In­dia

The In­dian sub­sidiary of IBC So­lar AG, a global leader in pho­to­voltaic (PV) sys­tems and en­ergy stor­age, has signed an­other en­gi­neer­ing, pro­cure­ment, con­struc­tion (EPC) con­tract for a 22.5 MWp PV sys­tem in Ra­jasthan. The new PV in­stal­la­tion is lo­cated near Phalodi in Ra­jasthan, which has the largest in­stalled so­lar ca­pac­ity in In­dia. The con­struc­tion is ex­pected to start in Oc­to­ber 2016, and com­mis­sion is planned for April 2017, it is in­formed. “With this project, IBC So­lar In­dia will reach an im­por­tant mile­stone of in­stalling more than 50 MW of so­lar ca­pac­ity in In­dia for third party cus­tomers,” Shailen­dra Be­bortha, MD of the In­dian sub­sidiary IBC So­lar Projects Pvt Ltd was quoted as say­ing.
