IGEL Electric moves into new facility in Dortmund

IGEL Electric will be relocating, as of January 2017, from Sendenhorst to Dortmund, Germany. The company, known as a system integrator for electronic drive technology, will be moving into modern office suites in the suburb of Barop in Dortmund in the new year. The move will allow IGEL to further improve customer relationship, and to benefit from the proximity to the Faculty for Electrical Engineering at the Dortmund Technical University. In terms of IGELs international business, the new location, street address Hauert 14a, is ideally located between the A40 and A45 highways. Both the main railway station and the airports in Dortmund and Dusseldorf are close by. Thanks to these location-related factors, IGEL will be able to improve its customer relationship on a personal level. IGELs drive technology specialists will be able to reach customers more quickly and can thus react more flexibly to their demands. In addition to the head office in Dortmund, IGEL also maintains a branch office in Dubai. It provides the largest product range of soft starters worldwide, and, together with long-standing partners, develops innovative drive solutions for its customers. For example, the revolutionary medium voltage switchgear system MV-CS was introduced in 2010.
