NTPC pays interim dividend of Rs 2,152.07 crore for FY 2016-17
NTPC has paid an interim dividend of Rs 2,152.07 crore, being 26.10% of the paid-up equity share capital of the company for FY2016-17. RTGS advice for transfer of Rs 1,500.95 crore to Government of India, was presented by Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC Ltd to Power Minister Piyush Goyal in the presence of Pradeep Kumar Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Aniruddha Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power, K Biswal, Director (Finance), AK Jha, Director (Technical), KK Sharma, Director (Operations), S Roy, Director (Human Resources) and AK Gupta, Director (Commercial) from NTPC. This is the 24th consecutive year that NTPC has paid a dividend.
