NTPC signs MoU for condition assessment of structures
An MOU was signed between NTPC and CSIR-SERC-Chennai for Condition Assessment of Concrete and Steel Structure by ED (OS) and Director of CSIR-SERC-Chennai on behalf of CSIR. As per the MoU, NTPC stations (old/new) can directly avail services of the CSIR_SERC for preliminary condition assessment of concrete and steel structures or for any other need-based emergency service.
NTPC-NETRA vendor meet 2017: NTPC NETRA C&M department organised its first-ever vendor meet which was attended by over 200 vendors. The meet was inaugurated by AK Jha, Director (T),A K Sinha, ED (Engg), T R Dutta and ED (CC&M), R K Srivastava, ED (NETRA) who shared their views and gave information about NETRA’s future plans in research and development on the occasion. NTPC is now a 50498 MW company: NTPC joined the top league of electricity generators globally by crossing the 50 GW capacity mark, towards realising India’s dream for 24x7 affordable environment friendly Power for All. With commissioning of 500 MW unit at Unchahar in Uttar Pradesh, the total installed capacity of NTPC has risen to 50498 MW.
