These days, schools are like factories, and merely concentrat­e on completing the portions assigned, instead of teaching values for a better society [Really Useful Schooling, June]. Thinking and taking decisions are miles away for the students—only imitation becomes important. Also, children are often too pampered, and to make them good citizens there is the need to educate most parents as well.
