OPINIONS EXPRESSED

ASHOK KHENY Managing Director, Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises Ltd Over the years I have realized that one shouldn’t get angry over someone else’s mistake. Likewise, in real estate sector, we shouldn’t get upset over the mistakes made by those in Delhi. They bring in rules and regulations without having the foundation for it. Smart cities also need smart governments. To facilitate this we need to get more involved and compete with each other on merit. Therefore I feel delighted to be part of the Realty+ Excellence Awards wherein the eminent jury awards the deserving candidates. I wish Realty+ the very best.

ASHISH PURAVANKARA President CREDAI Bengaluru & MD, Puravankara Limited There’s a strong demand for housing across the country. Being a Mumbai-based company, we have moved to Bangalore in 1985. We are currently spreading across 8 cities and 4 states in India and each of these hubs is a profit centre in itself. I strongly believe that the mantra for success lies in the popularity of the brand and hence at Puravankara we put the utmost effort in building and maintaining brand image among consumers.

AMIT WADHWANI, Managing Director, Sai Estates Property Consultants My association with Realty+ goes a long way and it was an exciting experience to be here in Bengaluru and addressing the real-estate fraternity of South India. The way the industry is now panning out, more than the design, technology, approvals and premiums, it is the shear will and determination of all us that will take this industry out of the troubled times. Indian consumer today wants accountability; they want to understand if you have the capacity to deliver what you are promising. Years ahead seem bullish and we all must stay positive.

SURESH HARI Vice President, CREDAI Bengaluru & CEO, Vishal Builders & Promoters The Realty+ Conclave has been a very purposeful event with a number of resolute sessions. The content was well-driven and well-moderated. I would suggest Realty Plus to organize similar event more often with longer panel discussions so more information can be communicated. These knowledge sharing forums are very much required in the industry. Realty Plus brings together the right mix for generating successful events.

FAROOK MAHMOOD President FIABCI International & Chairman & MD, Silverline Group Realty Plus events get better year by year just like old wine matures and gets better. They have been doing a wonderful job over the years and I think the quality of speakers and panelist just keeps getting better and even the topics of discussion are relevant to the current state of the market. The line-up for the awards ceremony is fabulous as well. I wish Realty Plus all the best for all their future endeavors.

D RAGHU Chairman and MD, Navami Builders Pvt ltd Winning the Realty+ Emerging Builder of The Year Award has been a very great moment for us. The realty sector post RERA and GST was very sluggish but now it has picked up and is moving in the right direction and we see a very clear future for the realty sector in the coming days. Bangalore in particular is going to witness a very steep rise in market price.
