New Holland to export 500 India made tractors to Myanmar
New Holland Agriculture, one of the leading agricultural equipment brands globally, has recently announced to export 600 tractors to Myanmar through the Agricultural Mechanisation Department (AMD) retail selling project initiated by Myanmar’s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation (MOALI).
As many as 500 of these tractors are the 75 HP New Holland TT75, manufactured in the company’s Greater Noida plant in Uttar Pradesh. The other 100 tractors are 90 HP TD90 models from New Holland Agriculture’s plant in Turkey. To reach this important sales agreement with AMD, New Holland worked closely with Yangon-based Convenience Prosperity Co Ltd (CPCL), its authorised distributor in Myanmar since 2012, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yoma Strategic Holdings.
