‘SAVVY’ joined hands with NMIMS’ (Narsee Monjee Institute Of Management Studies) Aarambh 2018 - a social marathon presented by SRF (Social Responsibility Forum). SRF is a student initiative, taking small steps and hoping that they culminate into a big change in society.

Aarambh, the flagship event of the initiative, was a 5 km marathon held at Bandstand, Bandra, where people from the entire city participated and ran for a cause. Every year, SRF addresses a new social problem and believes in coming up with solutions to eradicate it.

Aarambh, this year, stood for the cause of ‘Women Rehabilitation From Trafficking’. SRF had collaborated with Apne Aap Women’s Collective (AAWC), an NGO that aims to provide a caring and supportive platform of wholesome services to help women, girls and children in the red light area of Kamathipura make choices for a dignified life.

With a huge footfall coming in to support the cause, Aarambh ’18 was a grand success.
