Shoes & Ac­ces­sories has cov­ered brands, re­tail­ers, man­u­fac­tur­ers, start-ups and prod­uct news since 2009. The pub­li­ca­tion an­a­lyzes in­dus­try trends and tech­nol­ogy de­vel­op­ments as well as fea­ture news about in­dus­try and mar­kets. Our goal is to help you stay in­formed and make key de­ci­sions.

Shoes & Ac­ces­sories com­pletes our ef­forts, which be­gan al­most a decade ago, to pro­vide you with a pub­li­ca­tion more vis­ually in­ter­est­ing and eas­ier to read and that puts the mar­kets ef­forts into a broader con­text. As its name im­plies, S&A is about the next idea or the next trend af­fect­ing fash­ion, which we share thru this is­sue. It is also about the next step that will help brands cre­ate value and shape their fu­ture.

We kick off this is­sue with a fea­ture story on a legacy brand HIDESIGN and how this no­table brand has re­sponded when they needed to re­fresh or rein­vent their brand to re­main rel­e­vant. It is ad­vice we took to heart when we re­fo­cused our magazine.

Re­cently, the In­dian re­tail land­scape was wit­ness to the en­try of fa­mous French fash­ion brand Guy Laroche through a part­ner­ship with high-end re­tailer INC5. This is­sue throws an in­sight on Guy Laroche and San Frissco and how they are shap­ing the mar­ket.

With the trade show sea­son in full swing, the In­dia In­ter­na­tional Leather Fair and De­sign­ers Fair con­tinue into Fe­bru­ary. With over 600 ex­hibitors tak­ing part, the ex­hi­bi­tion is one of the world’s largest meet­ing places for footwear and leather ac­ces­sories man­u­fac­tur­ers and sup­pli­ers, and at­tract­ing vis­i­tors look­ing for new per­spec­tives on the style.
