Fuji ilm cameras are known for their reliability and image quality, be it ‘stills’ or video. The Fuji ilm X100V camera was announced in the irst week of February 2020. The Company has several X100- series models and the X100V is the ifth. Let’s see how this lightweight, feature- illed camera turns out in our review.
Design & Build Quality
Finished in a beautiful black coat, the Fuji ilm X100V is a ixed-lens mirrorless camera. However, conversion lenses are available as attachments as mentioned in the Key Features. The X100V shows good engineering design and looks attractive, but if you have owned/used some of the earlier models of Fuji ilm cameras, you’ll notice that the four-way controller is missing and the button positions have changed. General information:
The Fuji ilm X100V is a mirrorless camera using an APS-C (23.5 x 15.6 mm) X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and a ixed 23 mm f/2 pancake lens (equivalent to 35 mm on the full frame format). However, telephoto conversion lens attachment (TCL-X100II, equivalent to 50 mm on the full frame format) and wide conversion lens attachment (WCL-X100 II, equivalent to 2 mm on the full frame format) are available as accessories. The new 23 mm lens offers lower distortion, better image quality and improved close focus performance. However, the X100V does not offer image stabilisation. A four-stop ND ilter is built-in and the camera has a single SD card slot.
