has announced that you can pre-order the AI-accelerated computational camera Alice now, for an early bird price via its online pre-order campaign.

The Alice Camera has been specifically designed for content creators and works with their smartphone to shoot and share content in full-width 4K video. Its sports a sleek design, mounts on most smartphones (it can also work unattached) and its native iOS/ Android app connects to the camera via touch-screen interface. It allows wireless data transfer between camera and phone giving users a real-time viewfinder on their smartphone screen. The camera also features a 4/3 image sensor with dual native ISO and quad-bayer structure and enables attachment of Micro Four Thirds lenses and adaptors. The company has shared that the camera will receive frequent software updates and its opensource software can be customised. The Alice Camera pre-ordered via the Indiegogo campaign will be available at a special price of USD 760 (approx).
