VERDICT

Nikon after decades. While it may sound expensive, the truth is that lenses that give similar performance (if any), cost around the same or even more. It is excellent for portraiture due to its superb bokeh and also for low light photography. It sets a new standard in performance for super-speed normal lenses. Bear in mind that, it is not a forgiving lens, especially when coupled with a high pixel count camera like Z7 or Z7 II. The technique must be exact as any sloppiness will result in poor quality images.
