Oppo Launches New 5G Device
Oppo has announced the launch of the new A53s 5G smartphone, as sleek and affordable option in the 5G ready phone market.
The smartphone supports a fast 5G network connection owing to its Dual SIM 5G that runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity
700 chip. Its Dual SIM Dual Standby (5G) enables the users to use up to two 5G SIM cards. It also comes with LinkBoost technology that reportedly connects the phone to both a Wi-Fi and 5G signal to run multiple tasks. Moreover, the Smart 5G switch automatically switches from a 5G to 4G/LTE connection, or vice versa, depending on the best network configuration for the apps in use.
The device boasts of an ‘Ultra-large’ memory and storage. It comes with 128GB of storage through a Micro SD slot and a selection from 6GB and 8GB of memory and 5000mAh battery capacity which reportedly supports a talk time of 37.8 hours and video playback for 17.7 hours. Its ‘Super Power Saving’ mode reduces the battery consumption by adjusting the CPU frequency and screen’s brightness, while the ‘Super Nighttime Standby’ ensures only up to 2% of your battery.
It features Ultra Clear Eye Care Display, providing 89% screen-to-body ratio on its 16.55 cm waterdrop display. The device sports a slim body design with 3D Curved Body, rounded edges, and lightweight design. It weighs about 189.6 g, has a thickness of about 8.4 mm and comes with a Side Fingerprint Unlock feature. The device comes in two colours i.e. Crystal Blue and Ink Black.
The A53s 5G has an AI Triple Camera, which features a 13MP main camera, a portrait camera and a 2MP macro camera. The camera allows the users to capture 108MP images and also features different modes such as Macro mode, Ultra Night mode etc. It also sports AI Scene Recognition and AI Beautification (8MP front camera) functions. Other features include phone optimisations, FlexDrop (minimised floating window), Text Scanner, System Booster, remote access and Kid space.
The Oppo A53s 5G is available for purchase on Flipkart and mainline retail outlets at a price of INR 14,990 (6GB RAM + 128GB ROM) and INR 16,990 (8GB RAM + 128GB ROM).
