Razer Announces New Gaming Laptop

Razer

has announced the launch of the Blade 14 laptop, during their E3 keynote. The Blade 14 is reportedly, the first Razer Blade laptop ever to run on an AMD processor. The AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX 8-core, 16-thread processor features a max boost clock of up to 4.6GHz. It provides users with up to 12 hours of battery life and features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU. The GeForce RTX 30 Series features a suite of Max-Q technologi­es such as Dynamic Boost, Whisper Mode 2.0 and a resizable BAR that allows the Blade 14 to remain silent.

The device offers displays ranging from Full HD 144Hz up to Quad HD 165Hz, IPS-grade panels with colour coverage, reaching up to 100% SRGB on the Full HD panel and up to 100% DCI-P3 on the Quad HD panel. It also comes with a high refresh rate for both panels, paired with the integrated AMD FreeSync Premium technology. The Blade 14 also features an all-aluminium chassis, anodised with a matte black coating and measures 0.66” x 8.66” x 12.59”. The vacuum-sealed chamber within the device uses vaporised liquid to dissipate heat away from integral components, while working in tandem with two ultra-lowprofile fans, each of which features 88 fan blades of 0.1 mm thickness, to pull cool air in and push hot air out. Other key features include a 720p webcam on the top bezel of the display, IR sensor, speakers with built-in THX Spatial Audio technology, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5 mm jack. The Razer Blade 14 starts at an MSRP of USD 1799.99 and is available now on the company’s official website, Razer Store retail locations, and with select retail

Tokina has announced the sales release of the SZX Super Tele 400 mm f/8 Reflex MF lens for Nikon Z and Canon RF camera mounts.

Tokina has adopted a T-mount standard (pitch 0.75 mm, thread 42 mm), that allows this lens to be attached to various cameras by using different mount adapters, to provide photograph­ers a chance to use the 400 mm f/8 lens with popular Nikon and Canon mirrorless cameras. The company has released 400 mm f/8 for Nikon Z and Canon RF mounts. New mount adapters for Nikon Z and Canon RF mirrorless cameras can be purchased separately as well.

The Tokina SZX Super Tele 400 mm f/8 Reflex MF lens is available for purchase as a kit with Canon RF and Nikon Z mount adapters at a price of USD 250.

They plan to work together by launching digital solutions for key segments like Commercial, Publishing and the Labels industry.

As part of this partnershi­p, Fujifilm aims to work with Insight on various futuristic platforms in the graphic arts segment beginning FY21-22. The company also states that it has further plans to expand this partnershi­p in a phased manner.
