A space for the few who caught our eye
It was during her years at NIFT where she was exposed to photography in a serious manner and her graduation project was a combination of self portraiture and graphic design. Soon after graduation, she moved to silicon valley to explore the media and marketing side of business. “It was only after the birth of my son Kabeer that I realised how much I miss photography. I started with a couple of free maternity and baby sessions and clients were to pay only if they liked the images. What gave me the much needed confidence was the fact that each and every session I did was bought by my clients with genuine smiles. It is never too late to follow your heart. Listen to that heartbeat, listen to what it is telling you. You might not be able to see a paved path right away, but just take that step and you’ll see the world of opportunities lightup in front of you” says Rakshita.
Narendra is an ex photojournalist who worked for The Times of India. He is also a wedding photographer, the owner of 35mm Arts wedding Photography and a photographer at APPJ (Andhra Pradesh photojournalist association).
“I am based out of Visakhapatnam, and have been photographing for almost 12 years now. I sincerely believe that photographs offer us a great way to preserve our special memories. I’ve always been delighted about storytelling through photography and have shaped my profession as a wedding photographer to capture true moments, on time, as I perceive a relationship with the picture” says Narendra.
