Cosina Unveils Aspherical Lens for Nikon F-mount

Cosina has launched the Voigtlander Color-Skopar 28 mm f/2.8 SL II S Aspherical lens for Nikon F-mount camera systems.

The manual lens is constructed using 7 elements in 6 groups, including one double-sided aspherical element. The focus unit of the lens is entirely made of helicoid metal and sports a minimum focussing distance of 15 cm. It comes with a built-in chip and an AI coupler to enable compatibility with any Nikon camera. It has an aperture range of f/2.8 to f/22 and sports a nine-blade aperture diaphragm with a 52 mm front filter thread. The lens measures 66.3 mm in diameter, 32.8 mm in length and weighs 255 g. The lens offers 2 colour variants for its front filter ring i.e. silver (termed Sakishiro) and black (termed Sakijiro).

The Voigtlander Color-Skopar 28 mm f/2.8 SL II S Aspherical lens for Nikon F-mount cameras is expected to be released in October, 2021 in Japan at a price of JPY 65,000. As of now, no information regarding the price and availability outside Japan has been shared by the company.
