Viltrox Announces Autofocus Lens

Viltrox has announced the 35 mm f/1.8 autofocus lens for Nikon Z-mount cameras.

The lens is made of 10 elements in 8 groups, with two extra-low dispersion elements, two aspherical elements and two high-refraction index elements. It has a nine-blade aperture diaphragm and an aperture range of f/1.8 to f/16. It has a minimum focussing distance of 40 cm and has an aperture ring and a manual focus ring.

The lens’ autofocus is driven by a stepping motor mechanism and is compatible with Nikon’s Eye AF technology. It has a built-in USB-C port on the rear mount of the lens, has a 70 mm diameter and measures 90 mm in length while weighing 370 g. The Viltrox 35 mm f/1.8 autofocus lens is available for purchase on Viltrox’s online store at a price of USD 399.
