Viltrox Unmasks AF Lens

Viltrox has introduced the 13 mm f/1.4 autofocus lens for Fujifilm X-mount camera systems. The lens’ optical construction consists of 14 elements in 11 groups. The lens comes with a nine-blade aperture diaphragm, features a minimum focussing distance of 22 cm and uses a 67 mm front filter thread. The internal focussing mechanism of the lens is driven by a stepping motor (STM). It measures 74 mm in diameter, 90 mm in length and weighs 420 g. The lens is currently available for pre-order on Pergear’s online shop at a price of USD 469 (lens, microfiber pouch, front/rear lens cap and petal-style lens hood). Shipping is expected to start by February, 2022.
