TTartisan Unfurls Ultrafast Prime Lens

TTartisan has announced the addition of two new mount options to its 50 mm f/0.95 APS-C lens. Initially only compatible with Canon EOS-M, Canon RF, L-mount, Micro Four Thirds and Nikon Z-mount camera systems, the lens will now be available for Fujifilm X-mount and Sony E-mount systems.

The lens’ optical construction includes 8 elements in 6 groups with multilayer coatings on the individual elements. It comes with a 75 mm full-frame equivalent focal length, has a minimum focussing distance of 50 cm, uses a 58 mm front filter thread and comes with a 10-blade aperture diaphragm.

Overall, the new Fujifilm X-mount and Sony E-mount models seem to have the same look as their MFT and Nikon Z-mount counterparts.

The lens sports a retro design and has a clicked aperture ring and focus ring with distance markings. It measures around 64 mm in diameter, 63 mm in length and weighs 411 g.
