Meike Reveals Manual Lens

Meike recently released a new 8 mm f/2.8 lens for Micro Four Thirds camera systems. The fully manual lens comes with a 16 mm full-frame equivalent focal length. Its optical design consists of 17 elements in 12 groups, with multi-coated elements. The lens comes with a 77 mm front filter thread, has a minimum focussing distance of 25 cm and weighs 480 g. Key features include a knurled focus ring, an aperture ring and distance markings. The lens also comes with a builtin petal lens hood, which is also used for mounting lens filters.

The Meike 8 mm f/2.8 lens is available for purchase at a price of USD 399 (approx. INR 31,200) from Meike’s online shop.
