CONCLUSION

All in all, we have been using D-SLR lenses on MILCs over the last few years quite successfully with adapters. Apart from helping to defer the expenditure needed to buy new lenses, adapters have helped us in two ways. One is to preserve the investment we made in the legacy lenses, especially if they are expensive ones, and the other is to fill any gaps if the MILC versions of the lenses are yet to come to the market. While an adapter might be an interim solution, it is still an effective one and helps us, photographers, immensely. More importantly, your D-SLR lens will work just as well optically, as it did on your D-SLR. You may even see some gains in other areas as explained.
