PSI International Photo Exhibition
The Photographic Society of India (PSI) conducted their 20th International Photography Salon 2022 at their premises in Fort, Mumbai, from 29th August – 10th September 2022. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prashant Nakwe, well-known photo-journalist and the former Editor of The Hindu. The exhibition also marked the 85th Anniversary of PSI.
The total number of prints received from all over the world – from 45 countries – was 4491, from 310 entrants. The sections of the salon were Open Monochrome, Open Colour, Nature, and Travel. The Best Entrant of the salon was Ling Jyi Chao from Taiwan and the best participating Club was Youth Photographic Society, Banglore. The exhibited images were wonderful and provided a useful lesson to newcomers and advanced photographers alike.
The exhibition judges were Vaibhav Jaguste (Mumbai), Prakash Dudhalkar (Mumbai), Suman Bhattacharya (Kolkata), and Rupak De (Lucnow).
