Wneddings are a celebration—the coming together of not just two people or families, but of ideas, cultures, thoughts and perspectives. Each wedding has a unique story and a myriad of emotions involved. As a wedding photographer, it is both a privilege and a responsibility to give life to these stories and create timeless memories.

The Sony Alpha 7 IV is an invaluable companion in bringing these emotions to life. A well-rounded camera, the Alpha 7 IV delivers an excellent imaging experience and seamlessly toggles between photography and videography. It also has a wide range of customisable features that easily bring my artistic visions to life.

With a full-frame 33MP CMOS image sensor, the camera boasts high colour accuracy and provides an exceptional gradation experience. Its large pixel count and true-to-life resolution accentuate the intricate beauty of any event, even in low-light conditions. Additionally, it has an AI-based subject recognition system which allows for quick and precise focus tracking, even when shooting fastmoving subjects.

The camera offers up to 10fps shooting with a buffer memory of 828 frames of uncompressed RAW and JPEG, and allows up to 4K 60p in 4:2:2 10-bit with no recording time limit. This is useful when I want to cover the entire event from a single vantage

I thoroughly enjoy using the Sony Alpha 7 IV in combination with GM lenses for its superbly responsive and accurate focus system that can lock in and follow the face or eye of the subject, and for the exceptional level of optical control and ϐ‹‡••‡Ǥ Š‡› ƒ”‡ ’‡”ˆ‡…– tools for both professsional ’Š‘–‘‰”ƒ’Š› ƒ† ˜‹†‡‘‰”ƒ’Š›Ǥ

Another notable feature of the Alpha 7 IV is its robust build quality and weather-resistant sealing. It is built to withstand harsh conditions, including dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures, which gives me the freedom to shoot my subject in any kind of weather and location.

The camera is accompanied by the intuitive, fantastic G Master lens lineup, which is a cut above the rest in terms of image and build quality, and meant for professionals who demand the very best speed, build, handling, and optical quality. The exceptional sharpness and smooth natural bokeh highlight the most intimate wedding moments beautifully. GM lenses also offer wide aperture range and versatile focal lengths. GM lenses are weather-resistant, and performs exceptionally in every condition.

As a wedding photographer and cinematographer, the Sony Alpha 7 IV and G Master lenses are extremely valuable tools, perfect for precise, creative, quality oriented professionals. They truly bring the colours and emotions of a wedding to life.
