ocated in God’s own coun­try in Cali­cut, the home of Dr. Hamza is a per­fect ex­am­ple of how a home’s in­te­ri­ors re­flects its res­i­dent’s life­style and is a col­lec­tion of what they love. This apart­ment at Plat­inum Cres­cent, Nadakavu is spread over an area of 1,100 sq.ft, and of­fers a serene space with a beau­ti­ful view of the land­scape.

De­signed by Ar. Babu Che­rian, BCA Ar­chi­tec­ture, this home has been de­signed keep­ing in mind the needs of the cou­ple. The in­te­ri­ors is a com­bi­na­tion of teak wood and light warm colours. The min­i­mal­is­tic treat­ment of the in­te­ri­ors cre­ates a sense of warmth and be­long­ing. The use of warm colours makes the in­te­ri­ors more light and calm, while the wood fin­ishes lends a sense of uni­for­mity. “A con­scious use of mir­rors in dif­fer­ent ar­eas, fur­ther en­hances the in­te­ri­ors. The en­trance lobby achieves a per­fect balance by com­bin­ing rich wooden floor­ing with min­i­mal fur­ni­ture.
