lubhouse is a perfect retreat to be in after a hectic day at work. Pune-based Architect Pramod Dubey of Advantage Architecture has skillfully designed the Aqua Clubhouse for a 25 acre township named The Little Earth. Adding insight on the design process Pramod adds, “Instead of designing one big clubhouse, we have split them into five different clubhouses, with each of them having varied aspects of well-being, i.e., Perform, Fitness, Learn, Celebrate and Rejuvenate. The main idea was to subdue the built mass and to give the landscape a centre stage. The cross-section passes through the boulevard and clubhouse, right up to the party lawns.” Further he added, “The east-west Central Boulevard forms the spine of the project around, which all the activities revolve. Four of the five open recreation spaces stem out from this boulevard, which are further enveloped by the respective phases of building. This creates a proper pedestrian network between all blocks woven around the finely landscaped open spaces.”

The project offers space for board games, yoga and meditation, a mini theatre, spa, a pool side cafeteria with indoor, as well as, outdoor seating and a huge party lawn. The sunken club offers the view of the swimming pool and the party lawn. The central boulevard is raised and the sloping staircase works as amphitheater area. The staircases and the area beside it has been covered with grass.
