Check out these innovative offerings from Carniture, which is a perfect amalgam of recycled parts and contemporary design.

Ifyou’re tired of the usual urban-chic designs available at the various lifestyle stores, this new line of trendy furniture designed by Anchal and Anand Kashyap, named Carniture, transforms old cars into unique furniture and home decor accessories. Adding insight on the design process, Anand Kashyap adds, “We are creating automotive art from old vehicles no longer in active service, to bring you fond affectionate memories of everything that you hold dear to yourself from the world of automobiles.” The focus is Recycle, Reduce, Reuse. The couple offer a creative solution by modifying and disassembling cars, scooters or motorcycles to create items of utility and beauty, keeping in mind what a car-lover would like to have. A basic design is conceptualised and elements are added for comfort and functionality, while maintaining authenticity and character.

Once the furniture is created, it is tested for strength, quality, durability, and capacity. It is then painted in the desired colour and brought to the showroom.

The dynamic furniture pieces are apt for spaces like bars, lobbies, showrooms, farmhouses, living rooms, kids rooms, office, board rooms and public places likes parks, airports and railway stations.

This new collection has been specifically designed for people who want aesthetically pleasing pieces that not only reflect their taste, but are looking for a range that is eclectic, elegant and innovative.
