BVC Lo­gis­tics Ex­pands Ser­vices

As part of its new brand iden­tity, BVC Lo­gis­tics, a lead­ing player in pro­vid­ing lo­gis­tics so­lu­tions to the gem and jew­ellery sec­tor, show­cased its new logo at the In­dia In­ter­na­tional Jew­ellery Show (IIJS) 2013 in Mum­bai. The un­veil­ing of the new logo also marks BVC’s ingress into the gen­eral cargo do­main for air and ocean in­ter­na­tional trans­porta­tion.

This an­nounce­ment comes at a time when the com­pany is fo­cus­ing on in­creas­ing its out­reach and gar­ner­ing a wider cus­tomer base. BVC Lo­gis­tics’ ex­pan­sion plans in­clude open­ing around 25 new branches across In­dia by the end of scal year 201 .

The growth strat­egy will also en­com­pass boost­ing its work­force and in­creas­ing its eet of ve­hi­cles spe­cialised to cater to the di­a­mond and jew­ellery and lux­ury sec­tor by 70 ve­hi­cles.

BVC Lo­gis­tics di­rec­tor Bhavik Chi­nai said, “BVC has been cater­ing to the niche sec­tor for over ve decades and there­fore mak­ing in­roads into lux­ury and air lo­gis­tics is an im­por­tant part of our brand diversi cation and the next step in the ex­pan­sion process. BVC plans to gain sub­stan­tial trac­tion and grow in the next 2-3 years to be­come a ma­jor player in the lo­gis­tics mar­ket. The new BVC logo is a rep­re­sen­ta­tion of hope through new be­gin­nings while keep­ing the over­all val­ues of our brand in­tact”.

Cur­rently BVC Lo­gis­tics de­liv­ers to over 120 cities pan-In­dia with 16 branch of ces na­tion­wide and has a eet si e of over 50 ar­moured ve­hi­cles with state-of-the-art tech­nol­ogy. The com­pany cur­rently han­dles over 5 of In­dia’s in­ter­na­tional trade of gems and jew­ellery.

BVC had re­cently en­tered into a strate­gic al­liance with Brinks In­dia to pro­vide a seam­less ser­vice through­out In­dia and glob­ally. BVC Lo­gis­tics will now han­dle the pan-In­dia di­a­mond and jew­ellery ex­port and im­port of Brinks In­dia, mak­ing it the largest di­a­mond and jew­ellery sup­ply chain man­age­ment com­pany in the coun­try.
