Multi-designer Launch At Velvetcase.com
elvetcase.com, an online marketplace of curated fine jewellery, has added more than 30 of India’s leading jewellers, some of whom will be selling online for the first time ever. The country’s premier jewellers such as Anmol, Zoya by Tanishq, Gemfields, Coriza by Minawala, Waman Hari Pethe, Tanya Rastogi by Lala Jugal Kishore, Neha Lulla, Laksh Pahuja, along with Jane Gordon & Minsun from New York among many others will now be accessible to a global clientele.
The online portal already hosts over 100 designers and 65,000 products, making it the largest collection of precious jewellery online. The launch event saw
Kapil Hetamsaria, Kriti Sanon and Runit Shah. Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon along with Velvetcase.com founders Kapil Hetamsaria and Runit Shah joining hands to announce the entry of the 30 designers into the online space.
The event was attended by leading jewellers including Ishu Datwani of Anmol Jewellers, Gautam and Krishaa Ghanasingh, Laksh Pahuja, Pallavi Foley, Suraj Popley, etc.
“We had noticed that the industry was very product centric and we wanted to change that and make it more design centric. Today, we have made jewellery shopping a very convenient experience. A customer in France can very easily pick up a piece designed by an Indian designer like Pallavi Foley and get it delivered at his doorstep,” said Hetamsaria.
“The service levels we offer are unmatched and we have a varied design
Vijay Jain, Ishu Datwani and Kajal Jain. collection. All our products are certified and we also have a five-step checking process,” added Shah.
“It’s a pleasure to be a part of this event and be associated with Velvetcase. com. Being the largest global online marketplace for fine jewellery, it has added the variations and has also been a one-stop destination to cater to the desires of fine jewellery seekers. The launch of the mobile app, I think, is the best thing that can happen to all of us! If you have the design ready or are thinking of customising any particular piece of jewellery, you can just use your phone and avoid the tussle of getting your laptop or desktop started! Also, it would rope in people on the go who can access the app and wait for the product to be delivered just after one tap,” said Sanon.
The Velevetcase mobile app was

Velvetcase.com’s product offering is the largest in e-commerce in the precious jewellery segment. The company reported that around a third of its annual sales are from metro cities, and that it has a repeat order rate of 30%. The brand strongly feels it is their unique business model with a zero inventory policy that has enabled them to achieve 350% growth in the last six months and deliver competitively priced products to their customers.
