Gadgil Jewellers announced that its latest showroom was jointly inaugurated by Sunetra Pawar, president, Hi-Tech Textile Park, Baramati and Bollywood actress Sai Thamhankar in Baramati, Maharashtra in early January. The 3,333-sq-ft store showcases elite and antique jewellery designs, classic understated gold patterns and diamond jewellery, reflecting Maharashtra’s cultural splendour.
Locals from Baramati, located in the heart of Maharashtra, have been frequent visitors to P.N. Gadgil’s Pune showroom and made “innumerable requests” for a showroom in their own city. Through its new store, the company aims to capitalise on the favourable gold market, the rising purchasing power, and economic growth in Baramati.
Saurabh Gadgil, chairman and managing director, P.N. Gadgil Jewellers, stated, “We have had some great customers from Baramati and they have always demanded that we open a store in Baramati. The occasion is perfect since we just started with the new year and the market is sending out positive indications. This is a gift to the customers of Baramati and Maharashtra, who have given us so much love. It’s more of a reminder that however wide our horizons expand, we would still be grateful to Maharashtra, our home.”
