Hari Krishna Blood Donation Camp Collects 487 Units
Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., a leading Indian manufacturer of cut and polished diamonds, organised a blood donation camp on February 12 and 13 in Mumbai. The firm collected a total of 487 units of blood during the event, which was aimed at raising awareness about blood donation and its importance in saving lives.
The guests of honour at the event were noted management professor Cyrus Gonda, and Mahesh Shirodkar, who has donated platelets 216 times and blood on 30 occasions.
Hari Krishna Exports managing director Ghanshyam Dholakia said, “Blood donation is a noble cause and every drop of blood collected at this camp will help save lives. The donors have done a great deed to humanity by donating their precious blood. I am touched by the great response we have had, and I want to thank our donors for their participation.”
Hari Krishna arranged a free eye check-up for its employees on the second day.
