Hari Kr­ishna Blood Do­na­tion Camp Col­lects 487 Units

Hari Kr­ishna Ex­ports Pvt. Ltd., a lead­ing In­dian man­u­fac­turer of cut and pol­ished di­a­monds, or­gan­ised a blood do­na­tion camp on Fe­bru­ary 12 and 13 in Mum­bai. The firm col­lected a to­tal of 487 units of blood dur­ing the event, which was aimed at rais­ing aware­ness about blood do­na­tion and its im­por­tance in sav­ing lives.

The guests of hon­our at the event were noted man­age­ment pro­fes­sor Cyrus Gonda, and Ma­hesh Shi­rod­kar, who has do­nated platelets 216 times and blood on 30 oc­ca­sions.

Hari Kr­ishna Ex­ports man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Ghan­shyam Dho­lakia said, “Blood do­na­tion is a noble cause and ev­ery drop of blood col­lected at this camp will help save lives. The donors have done a great deed to hu­man­ity by do­nat­ing their pre­cious blood. I am touched by the great re­sponse we have had, and I want to thank our donors for their par­tic­i­pa­tion.”

Hari Kr­ishna ar­ranged a free eye check-up for its em­ploy­ees on the se­cond day.
