Gem­fields’ Yo­gesh Kha­to­ria Awarded Bharat Gaurav

Yo­gesh Kha­to­ria, Gem­fields di­rec­tor and head of op­er­a­tions – In­dia, was re­cently hon­oured with the Bharat Gaurav at the Bri­tish Par­lia­ment. Kha­to­ria was fe­lic­i­tated for his noteworthy con­tri­bu­tion in the global min­ing in­dus­try and his ef­forts in mak­ing Gem­fields the world’s lead­ing sup­plier of re­spon­si­bly sourced coloured gem­stones.

The Bharat Gaurav award is a pres­ti­gious award for In­di­ans who have achieved a land­mark in their field and have made In­dia proud on a global plat­form.

Based in Jaipur, Kha­to­ria man­ages the In­dian op­er­a­tion for Gem­fields. Kha­to­ria has over 20 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in the coloured gem­stone in­dus­try, specif­i­cally in emer­alds, ru­bies and sap­phires. Kha­to­ria was in­volved in the de­vel­op­ment of Gem­fields’ rough emer­ald grad­ing sys­tem. He has also de­vel­oped the rough traded auc­tions which run along­side the Kagem Min­ing Ltd. auc­tions.

Kha­to­ria was one among 37 other prom­i­nent per­son­al­i­ties to be fe­lic­i­tated at the event.
