GJF To Hold National Jewellery Awards 2017
The 7th National Jewellery Awards (NJA) 2017 organised by the All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF) will be held on 28th July, 2017, in Mumbai, to pay tribute to the talent and craftsmanship of artisans in the gems and jewellery industry. Known for supporting jewellery crafts, and motivating the industry, the NJA is considered to be one of the industry’s biggest award shows that recognises all sectors of the industry and offers a platform where true talent of the industry is appreciated.
Top jewellers, government officials, industrialists and Bollywood celebrities will be seen at the grand finale at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Applications for the NJA were open to all stakeholders of the jewellery industry operational in India and the jewellery fraternities include retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers, e-commerce entities, designers and students through online application process at www.gjf.in.
Anantha Padmanaban, director, GJF and NJA committee convener, said, “NJA offers an opportunity to get recognised on a national level in the jewellery industry. It helps in building a sustainable image within the industry as well as with the direct customers at large. NJA 2017 consists of a total 25 categories that include 12 jewellery awards, five excellence awards, five store awards, two designer awards, and student awards with a substantial amount as scholarship given to the winning students.
