IIG Hosts Tete-A-Tete With Brazil­ian En­tre­pre­neur Ali Pas­torini

The In­ter­na­tional In­sti­tute of Ge­mol­ogy (IIG) hosted Ali Pas­torini, co-owner of Del Lima Jewelry and pres­i­dent of Mu­jeres Bril­lantes, for an in­ter­ac­tive ses­sion, which pri­mar­ily re­volved around women en­trepreneur­s in the male-dom­i­nated jewellery in­dus­try. Pas­torini heads Mu­jeres Bril­lantes, an as­so­ci­a­tion which brings to­gether ap­prox­i­mately 1,000 women work­ing in the gold and di­a­mond trad­ing sec­tor, mainly from Latin Amer­ica, as well as from Turkey, Spain, Italy and Ger­many. The mis­sion of Mu­jeres Bril­lantes is to help women in the jewellery and watch­mak­ing sec­tors con­sol­i­date their busi­ness in or­der to ex­change pro­fes­sional skills and ex­pe­ri­ence. She en­gaged in a lively dis­cus­sion with the stu­dents and a few women en­trepreneur­s.
