Sportstar Aces Awards: Celebration of excellence

Dear Readers,

Sportstar, which celebrated its 40th birthday in 2018, is reviving its annual awards. The awards were a celebration of sporting excellence for about a decade from the mid-1990s. We are making the comeback as Sportstar Aces.

The awards — for the year 2018 — will celebrate the stars, potential stars in the making and the tireless silent partners who have dedicated their lives to sports, to realise the dream of making India a sporting nation. Sportstar Aces will identify and reward the most deserving athletes irrespective of the popularity of the sport. There are untold stories of struggle, fierce dedication and selfless work behind each athlete’s success. Sportstar Aces will strive to tell these stories, thereby providing encouragement to our athletes and their support systems, while giving you the true picture of what it takes to achieve excellence.

The aim of Sportstar Aces is to create a platform where stakeholders involved with Indian sports meet and share their vision for actionable growth and making sporting dreams a reality.
