For its contribution to the evolution of the Indian sports ecosystem, JSW was honoured as Best Corporate for the Promotion of Sports at the 2022 Sportstar Aces Awards in Mumbai.

JSW’S Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) is a state of the art high-performance Olympic Training Centre that supports the development of the country’s most talented athletes on a 100 per cent scholarship. Started in Bellary, Karnataka, the program has expanded across the length and breadth of the nation with satellite centres in Haryana, Himachal and Odisha.
The JSW Group has been an active player in various sports leagues in the country.
It is among the stakeholders of the IPL franchise Delhi Capitals.
It manages the highly successful Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League with Sunil Chhetri at the helm and owns the Haryana Steelers franchise in Pro Kabaddi League.
Its athletes have won 27 international medals including Neeraj Chopra’s gold and Bajrang Punia’s bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
