Jason Holder successfully defended 15 off the last over as Lucknow Super Giants beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 12 runs. Holder picked wickets off the first, fourth and sixth balls to finish with figures of 3 for 34. Earlier, Avesh Khan struck with two wickets in two balls in the 18th over to put the contest on an even keel. SRH became the first team to lose two matches after winning the toss in IPL 2022.
