Gaikwad and Devon Conway added 182 runs for the first wicket before Mukesh Choudhary’s four for 46 helped CSK defend 202 to wrap up its third win on M. S. Dhoni’s return to captaincy. Gaikwad was particularly severe on pacer Umran Malik, taking down the speedster for 33 runs in 13 balls, including four fours and two sixes.
