Matshikwe handed jail sentence for fixing
Former fast bowler Pumelela Matshikwe has been sentenced to six years imprisonment for his role in a fixing scandal in 2015 in the Ram Slam T20, a domestic T20 tournament in South Africa. He becomes the second player — after Gulam Bodi — to receive a jail sentence after legal proceedings in South Africa.
Matshikwe played 77 first-class matches, 57 List A matches, and 24 T20 matches.
