Saha signs up for Tripura

-

Wriddhiman Saha (in pic) has signed up to play for Tripura in the next domestic season. After weeks of talks, the deal was finally signed in early July, Saha agreeing to be player-mentor. “I want to contribute to Tripura’s success and ensure they do well. And in terms of the team goal, our aim will be to build on the success that Tripura enjoyed in domestic cricket in the recent past,” said Saha.

Arun Lal has said he no longer wishes to continue as head coach of Bengal as the role is “demanding.”

Elsewhere, India and CSK batter Ambati Rayudu will be playing for Baroda as a professional. Rayudu has played for Baroda in the past, and has also represented Vidarbha, Andhra, and Hyderabad. Last season, he played white-ball cricket for Andhra.
