Arun Jaitley

Minister of Finance and Minister of Defence

Arun Jaitley (born December 28, 1952) is currently the Minister of Finance, Minister of Corporate Affairs and an additional charge as the Minister of Defence. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is currently a Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat and was chosen as the leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha on June 3, 2009. Jaitley passed his law degree from the University of Delhi in 1977. He is a well-known lawyer, known for his sharp reasoning and oratory.
