APPOINTMENTS

Vice Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi assumed charge as Director General Naval Operations from August 13, 2020. He has commanded INS Vinash, INS Kirch and INS Trishul and has held various important operational and staff appointments.

Vice Admiral S.R. Sarma assumed charge as the Chief of Materiel, Indian Navy from September 1, 2020. The Admiral is a post graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from IISc, Bengaluru. The Admiral has served onboard Indian Naval ships Vindhyagiri, Rana, Krishna and Mysore in various capacities.
