BOLLYWOOD AND FASHION JOIN HANDS IN GOA!
India’s beaches just became a lot more stylish as the sixth season of India Beach Fashion Week hit the sandy beaches of Goa. The event was marketed as India’s premiere destination for all things fashion, all things beach and all things resort. CEO and Co-Founder Pallav Ojha spoke of the event, saying, “India Beach Fashion Week in the last 5 seasons has emerged as a global fashion platform to present the latest innovation and design across beach, resort, cruise and destination wear. This season onwards, IBFW has been conceived to build India’s largest destination fashion and business platform for global travelers, affluent buyers & focused media from India & abroad.” Now this is ‘India’ Beach Fashion Week, so Bollywood couldn’t have been far. And we kicked it off with Terence Lewis walking the runway for Ken Ferns and his eclectic, colourful ‘my tribe’ collection. Gauahar Khan played showstopper for Eshaa Amiin’s turquoise and fuchsia fantasy collection. Speaking of where she saw beach fashion in the next few years, Eshaa said, “I think it’s going to just get bigger and bigger, because all of us need holidays,” to which Gauahar added, “And Goa’s the perfect place for that!” Pooja Chopra also sashayed down the runway as the elegant end to Asif Merchant’s show. And to top it all off, Swara Bhaskar practically glowed in her bridal wear attire, courtesy of Ohaila Khan. Pallav spoke about the decision to include bridal wear in a beach and resort collection, saying, “Goa is a big destination for
