Stitch World - - NEWS TRACK -

The sixth edition of TANTU Textile Alumni Association seminar is slated to be held at India International Centre, Max Mueller Marg, New Delhi on 15th September 2018. This year’s theme is ‘ The Art of Shirt Making’. Industry veteran Partho Kar, Chief Consultant at Biswa Bangla Retail, Government of West Bengal will be the Chief Guest for the event.

The seminar has already gathered attention from manufacturers and technology solution providers from India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Bangladesh. Industry experts from Hugo Boss, Laguna Clothing, Elite Garments, Raymond, and Madura Garments will be participating in the innovative audio-visual panel discussions. The topics of the discussion will address upon ‘Business of shirt making’ along with the ‘ Technology of shirt making’.

Even though Indian manufacturers produce the finest men’s shirts for domestic market but in terms of exports, Bangladesh is ahead of India. Since there are never-ending queries about the right methods to be followed in the process of shirt making, the panel will be deliberating about the right technology to be used for the same.

Dr. Prabir Jana, President, TANTU and Seminar Chairman explains, “The panel discussions will be a rare treat to enjoy with video clippings and curated discussions.” Companies like Freudenberg, Martin Group, and Tukatech are associated with the seminar as Gold Partners. Tukatech will present its 3D solutions for shirt making. While Freudenberg will present its innovative and latest solutions for shirt interlining, Martin Group powered by SAKHO will convey about the importance of right fusing technology to get a good fused component.

Time SSD, the Silver Partner for the event, will present different ways to empower the shirt manufacturers through PMTS to improve their productivity in cost-effective ways.
