Germany: Karl Mayer launches its new brand KM.ON for digital solutions reach
Leading technology provider Karl Mayer recently launched KM.ON, a new digital brand for delivering digital solutions at market leader level. KM.ON stands for digitaldriven innovations which brings together the digital solutions portfolio of the Karl Mayer Digital Factory, a new software start-up and the entire Karl Mayer Group.
The digital factory is a pioneering company that employs a team of software experts in a new, creative environment away from the main company headquarters. Karl Mayer has also actively participated in ADAMOS, a strategic alliance of German global market leaders in machine construction and the software AG.
Arno Gärtner, Managing Director, Karl Mayer said, “Digitisation is a basic component of our company strategy. On the basis of the ADAMOS technology and as a part of this network for developments, Karl Mayer is living up with the product portfolio of the new KM.ON brand and has claimed to be the global market leader in terms of digital solutions”.
Meanwhile speaking about the objectives, Maximilian Kürig with Antonia Gottschalk, one of the Managing Directors, Karl Mayer Group commented, “This new venture should develop efficient digital solutions quickly and flexibly for the benefit of our customers and deliver them under its own, new umbrella brand.” They added that these digital solutions will further the possibilities of improving the efficiency of customer’s production processes along with providing them unparalleled competitive advantages.
KM.ON’s digital portfolio comprises of eight solution categories called as k.ey which is a conventional industrial PC with an appropriate software providing access to the solutions. This platform of hardware and software can be easily installed and links the machines to the protected cloud. Moreover, the group has unveiled the brand at this year’s ITMA ASIA + CITME 2018 being held in Shanghai.
