Yes, I shall wait

For you

Like I always did.

I shall wait

For you until

The hope in me withers.

I shall wait

For you until

The rose dries

And it's thorns prick my soul

I shall wait

For you until

The moon slides

Under the sheet of skies forever

I shall wait

For you until

The Art in me fades away

I shall wait

For you until poetry Runs in your veins

I shall wait

For you until you either beautify me

Or reason me

In your words to the world.

I shall wait for you. Shashwati Patil , hails from Hubli, Karnataka. She is currently working in bangalore.
