You are the raindrops

On the cheeks of blushing monsoon

The color of inexplicable joy Petrichor-scented breeze

Gently ruffling her hair You are the window seat

In train journeys

She never can compromise

And

Sometimes

You are the unwritten poems

Stealing away all the words, and languages... Your favorite game...

Yet

You do not know

Meeting you in every word Inked with tears...

A bilingual poet-writer(Tamil, English), Madhumathi is an ardent lover of Nature, Poetry, Photography and Music.
