unMind by Siddharth Tripathi

- - Swapna Peri

This book, unMind by Siddharth Tripathi, is a graphic retelling of the powerful and extraordinary teachings of two great mystics of modern India Ramana Maharshi (1879 - 1950) and Ramesh Balsekar (1917-2009).

This graphic book tries to answer the question of "I" through simple and easy anecdotes that most of us can identify with. The language is simple, and the explanation is quite engaging.

Siddharth Tripathi's writing prowess is in the simple writing by breaking the most complex topics and themes. With clear writing and illustrations, the book makes a reader very neatly understand the concept of spirituality and, more prominently, the Advaitha concept. As mentioned, Kalyani's illustrations give the book a tangent that is never possible with mere text.

About the Book On every page of the book, the concept of duality, nonduality till understanding oneself is described with a graphic. This kind of presentation is absolutely self-introspecting. Many readers will benefit from this kind of reading as no intervention of another person seems necessary.

unMind is a good source to lay one's path towards attaining the pinnacle of knowing oneself and answer the most crucial question Who Am I?
